Welcome

The Thames Valley Climbing Club (TVCC) is based in the West London area. We welcome anybody interested in rock climbing or mountaineering from beginner to expert. We are a very active club arranging at least one club meet a month. Trips abroad and within the UK are also organised. These include traditional climbing in summer and winter (snow and ice), sport climbing, alpinism and fell walking. We also have regular climbing wall meets on Wednesdays at The White Spider in Tolworth or Westway Climbing in Ladbroke Grove.

We meet socially once a month at the Adelaide pub in Teddington. Anyone wishing to find out more about the club informally is welcome to come along and meet some of the members. See Social Events page for more details.

About the Club

The Thames Valley Climbing Club (TVCC) was founded in 1966 by Kenny Sinclair and he is still climbing today. Based in the West London area and affiliated with the British Mountaineering Council (BMC), the TVCC welcomes anybody interested in climbing or mountaineering from beginner to expert.

The club has its main social meet at the Adelaide Pub in Teddington on the first Tuesday of every month (Occasionally this is changed, please contact us to check arrangements before a first visit.) See Social Events page for more details and a location map.
